Myles Smith, Coca-Cola Roxy - UK folk/rock soul singer Smith sure has increased his profile and popularity since he last played here in 2024 at Smith's Olde Bar without an album to his name. But his warm sound and the ringing tunes on his latest release, My Mess, My Heart, My Life, is too big to be contained in a small venue's walls. It doesn't hurt to have a hit with a billion (with a "b") streams either, which Smith logged on the catchy, clap-along "Stargazing," from his June debut. High profile buddies such as Ed Sheeran and Niall Horan also helped increase his visibility. But it's his voice, enthusiasm and soulful tunes that indicate this might just be a stop-off on his way to playing even larger stages. - Hal Horowitz
