The 39th annual Out On Film Festival returns September 24–October 4, celebrating LGBTQ+ cinematic storytelling and the artists shaping “The World We’re Making.”

Highlights include:

• Opening Film: Before I Do, a romcom asking, “What if the life I’ve built isn’t the one I’m meant to live?” Writer/director Gary Jaffe attending.

• #ATL Highlights: World Premiere of Atlanta-made comedy In Between, written, directed and starring Nicholas Molencupp; Love, Patrick: Nothing Is Impossible, the award-winning documentary about trailblazing designer Patrick Kelly, created/executive produced by Ray Cornelius; and Local Shorts.

• Centerpiece: Give Me The Ball! explores tennis/equal-rights icon Billie Jean King.

• Closing Film: Acclaimed La Bola Negra, following three generations of men across pivotal moments in Spanish history, bound by pain, desire and love.
