Play Center is 3 piece band,making modern garage post punk and punk music. Rock and Roll in it's most pure form started in garages and in the small clubs. We believe through all the eras,50's-90's. Play Center is an afro-punk band.

Founded by bass guitarist Kevin Lee, Play Center has humble garage studio beginnings, in 2017 that quickly turned into studio recordings, a collaboration with a good friend Mars Rodriguez, and a full length studio record. Later drummer Nick Moore, already in punk band Lethal Tender, came in to play drums. Weeks later Harry Jingles answered an ad, and the group was formed. Kevin, still recording in the studio, brought in lead guitarist John Thornhill for the studio lead guitars on Moving On. Finally after Andy Kendall Joined as lead guitars, Harry moved on to other types of music on drums. Driven by the influence of bands like Sonic Youth, Guided By Voices, and various styles with punk attitude Play Center is a new force in the Atlanta rock scene. After 2018, drummer Nick Moore left the band to focus on Lethal Tender and family. The Latest addition drummer Mathew Cavallo has added a whole different level and off we go for our 2019 release Tragic And Misunderstood set for fall or winter. Now feaured on The Coverage Radio Show, Atlanta Music Grape Vine, and Punk Black.
