If Grouplove and Cage the Elephant had a kid, and that kid was going through its angsty teen phase, it would be Recess Party. With their fusion of alternative rock, indie, and funk influences, Recess Party is creating an intriguing sonic landscape that is both familiar and refreshingly new. In their time playing and making music, they have shared bills with Trash Panda, The Backfires, Lera Lynn, Maggie Miles, Heffner, Wim Tapley, & more.

This August, Recess Party released their debut album 'Paid in Full.' The album is composed of fast-paced, storytelling songs that speak to the chapters of your early twenties and the short lived relationships that quickly form, dissolve, and shape who you are. Each member brings their own distinct personality, style, and sound to their music to create a musical concoction of rock, indie pop, funk, and punk. 'Paid in Full' captures the essence of contemporary indie rock while showcasing the band's unique musical identity.
