Murray Attaway

Murray Attaway is best known as the frontman for the Marietta, Georgia-based jangle pop band Guadalcanal Diary. After the band’s breakup, he released a solo album titled 'In Thrall' in 1993. In addition to his recording career, Attaway has composed music for numerous independent films and TV projects. A native of Atlanta and graduate of Marietta High School, he remains an influential figure in the southeastern alternative music scene.
