Jody Grind
The Jody Grind was an eclectic Atlanta-based band known for blending old-time jazz, swing, and alternative influences. Formed in the late 1980s by vocalist Kelly Hogan and guitarist Bill Taft, the group earned critical acclaim for their vintage sound and vibrant performances. They released two albums on DB Records before a tragic 1992 car accident claimed the lives of key members. Following the loss, the band disbanded, with Hogan and Taft pursuing other musical projects.
