Kiss

Kiss was a theatrical American rock band formed in 1973 in New York City by Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss. Known for their iconic face paint, elaborate costumes, and pyrotechnic-filled live shows, the group became one of the most popular acts of the 1970s. After lineup changes and a makeup-free era in the '80s, the original members reunited in the '90s for a successful tour. Though the band underwent several transitions, Stanley and Simmons remained at the core until Kiss concluded its final tour in December 2023.
