Poison

Poison is an American glam metal band formed in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania in 1983. Known for their flamboyant style and hard-rocking anthems, the group—Bret Michaels, C.C. DeVille, Bobby Dall, and Rikki Rockett—rose to fame with multi-platinum albums like Look What the Cat Dragged In and Open Up and Say... Ahh!. Their 1988 ballad “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” hit No. 1, and they scored a string of other hits including “Talk Dirty to Me” and “Nothin’ But a Good Time.” Despite the grunge era’s impact, Poison reunited in 1999 and continued recording and touring. They’ve sold over 40 million records worldwide and were named VH1’s top hair band of the 1980s.
