Raised in Griffin, Georgia with five siblings, Johnny grew up on a steady diet of classic country and southern rock. Life was simple, money was tight, and hard work wasn’t optional — it was a way of life. That grit never left him. He has been singing since he was able to walk and learned piano from his grandma at a young age. He then picked up a pair of drumsticks at 12 and never looked back, forming a band with his brother in high school and learning music from the ground up.

Though he stepped away from music to study medicine, he couldn’t shake the pull. Three years ago, he picked up the guitar for the first time — and with encouragement from his brother (a seasoned studio producer), returned to the studio after discovering he could write music. The result: his first two singles released this summer, marking the start of something deeply personal and real.

Johnny writes and records with his brother, crafting each track from scratch. Every lyric carries the weight of lived experience — from barefoot childhood memories to lessons learned the hard way. When he’s not writing or recording, you’ll find him hunting, fishing, or watching sports.
