PULP: The Fluid and The Concrete at Reeves House Visual Arts Center explores the expansive possibilities of handmade paper as a sculptural and expressive medium.

Rooted in the ancient practice of papermaking, the exhibition moves beyond traditional flat surfaces, as artists transform wet plant fibers and pulp into dimensional, surreal forms. These works challenge expectations of paper as a utilitarian material, instead presenting it as something fluid, dynamic, and capable of inhabiting space in unexpected ways.

Through inventive processes and imaginative approaches, the artists create forms that feel organic yet otherworldly, blurring the line between the natural and the fantastical.

Featured artists include Beth Campbell, Cecile Chong, Holly Coulis, Georgia Deal, Joan Hall, Amy Jacobs, Matthew Kirk, Anela Ming-Yue Oh, Marc Rosenquist, Alejandra Arias Sevilla, John Shorb, William Villalongo, Paul Wong, and Tricia Wright.
