If you’re looking for something to do tonight (Thues., Sept. 16) there’s an awful lot of music going on in ATL. First and foremost, Dean Wareham kicks off the first of a two-night stand playing Galaxy 500 magic at The Earl.
?
The Young Antiques play a free show at The Star Bar.
?
The Wild and bunch of other bands play a show at WonderRoot.
?
DJ Fudge, Dug Boogie and DJ Deliver set up shop at The Drunken Unicorn.
?
Christmas (K Records), Untied States and DJ Taradactyl take over The Highland Inn Ballroom.
?
And last but not least Vermillion Sands come all the way from Italy to play at 529. The group plays a brash and bouncy blend of Italio pop and garage-punk that segues nicely the Mermaids’ ’60s-style beach party rock ‘n’ roll and Tiger! Tiger!’s noirish, avant-garage rock and jazz skulk.
