Frank Stitt, chef and owner of THE HIGHLANDS BAR & GRILL, figured out more than 20 years ago that the cuisine of the American South has a lot in common with the cuisine of the south of France. His elegant restaurant blends the two cultures perfectly. Menu items like pork rillettes with pickled cherries and cole slaw make the trek across the state line well worth it.
