Out went the camp stoves and the sleeping bags when Outback pared back its backpacking section and rededicated itself to mountain and road bikes. They may be in L5P, but they're not too hip to help you out with a low-end newbie model or explain the ultra-light virtues of titanium Merlin with high-end components. Outback also isn't locked into pushing certain brands; every year it carries the lines it feels are the best. The current crop is Fisher and Marin.
