These garments begin as a piece of white silk. The beautiful patterns are created using the ancient art form of marbling. To marble, we float paints on a liquid, rake the paint into patterns and lay a piece of white silk on the floating pattern. Artists Susan & Paul Marling from Acworth, GA marble the silk, then cut and sew each garment.
