Our historic building began life as a Ford Motor dealership in the late 1800’s. The building still features the oldest working (although it’s been locked down for safety) elevator in Georgia . All of the bar tops and tables were custom made from the reclaimed wood taken out of the old ceiling structure. After 14 months of demolition, renovation, and construction, it was transformed into Southern Roots Tavern - McDonough’s newest nightlife with live music, two fully-stocked bars, and great food!
