T.H. Slater Elementary School

Welcome to TH Slater Elementary School Website! Slater is the home of the mighty Tigers!

Slater has a long history as a vital academic institution in the community. Slater began as an elementary school serving students from Kindergarten through 7th grade. In 1987, our neighbors at Luther J. Price High School became a middle school, and our 6th and 7th grade classes were moved to their new home.

We proudly serve students and families in the South Atlanta community who are a part of the Carver STEAM Cluster. Our school proudly serves approximately 600 students in grades Pre-K through 5th. Every day, we strive to be the best elementary school in the world by shifting our focus to one that encourages students to be thinkers and problem-solvers. Through the implementation of Project Based Learning as well as providing students with STEAM learning opportunities throughout the year, we are providing students with priceless experiences that will impact their futures.
