Long before mandatory dress codes and megaclubs turned black nightlife mega-lame in Atlanta, Club Kaya was the shit. If the vibe at Visions — the Gidewon club that eventually replaced it — was exclusive, Kaya's was eclectic: Frank Ski spinning East Coast hip-hop and B-more house. Kemit keeping the Afro-Latin grooves on lock in the café. And DJ Nabs hosting Old School Sundays.

Club Kaya is now a high rise tower - 1010 Midtown condo tower.
