Dillafied: The Sound Table pays tribute to Dilla
Los Angeles by way of Detroit producer's legacy to be celebrated in O4W.

Paying tribute to James Dewitt Yancey, aka J Dilla, on the eighth anniversary of his passing, the Sound Table has enlisted Applejac, Daz-I-Kue, Karl Injex, and Tabone to spin hallmarks of the legendary producer/DJ/rapper's career. Dilla's mark on the music world is undeniable, having produced seminal tracks for and with some of the most respected names in hip-hop, including A Tribe Called Quest, the Pharcyde, De La Soul, the Roots, and Madlib.
As the event's Facebook page explains: "We'll be playing the amazing productions that Dilla crafted for Common, ATCQ, Slum VIllage and countless others, alongside his legendary instrumentals and beat tape bizniz. Expect a healthy does of sample-clearance original source material as well!"
