Andre 3000 rips Rick Ross' 'Sixteen' (mp3)

Andre 3000 drops another epic verse on that a$$

Image Whenever curbside critics try to box Andre 3000 out of consideration for the best rapper category because he's never dropped a solo "rap" album, he unleashes another epic verse like this. The theme of the song "Sixteen," from Ricky Rozay's forthcoming album God Forgives, I Don't, is that sixteen bars ain't always enough to get your point across.

?
So Andre takes about, um, 3000 bars to tell a tale that starts in ’88/’89 with him harboring dreams of hip-hop stardom and ends in the present with the music and culture critiqued to death and all the success a thorn in his side.

?
After Ross indulges Andre's neverending story, he let's him "go that extra mile" with some funky guitar licks. It's just enough to keep us holding our breath until his next guest appearance.
