Ky-Mani Marley booksigning and performance tonight
Bob Marley son signs copies of autobiography, performs song at Shrine of the Black Madonna bookstore.
Ky-Mani Marley, one of Bob Marley's numerous musical sons, will sign copies of his just-released autobiography Dear Dad at Shrine of the Black Madonna bookstore tonight at 7 p.m. The reggae-fusion artist will also perform his hit song by the same name and answer questions.
Dear Dad (the book) details the rocky path Ky-Mani took through poor neighborhoods in Jamaica and Miami before becoming a successful musician, and also includes remarks on his relationship with his father's wife, Rita. (Ky-Mani was born to another woman, Anita Belnavis).
