Trent Reznor and wife Mariqueen Maandig release a song from their upcoming EP.
Last year, Trent Reznor closed the book on Nine Inch Nails after a two decade run. It was a hard blow for the NIN nation, but Trent assured his followers that he would continue to release music one way or another. Fans have been squirming uncomfortably since, hoping that the post-NIN Trent would still churn out that dark industrial shit.
They can rest easy. "A Drowning" sounds like good-old-fashioned NIN, updated with some sexy female vocals, provided by wifey Mariqueen Maandig. A welcome change in my opinion. Reznor and Maandig will drop their EP, How to Destroy Angels (also the name of their group) sometime this summer.
