SAMHAIN CELEBRATION WITH EMERALD ROSE — Samhain (no, not that Misfits’ guy’s other band) is the Celtic New Year, and Atlanta will celebrate it tonight with North Georgia-based Celtic band Emerald Rose, whose inexplicable cover version of ELP’s “Lucky Man” may well provide the biggest scares of this whole Halloween season. The Border Collies also perform, along with storyteller Cayce Terrell and the McGrath Academy Irish Dancers. Variety Playhouse (Nicoll/Smith)
