KEVN KINNEY — The drivin n cryin frontman’s warm, raspy voice and love-your-brother/tip-your-bartender humor are always a welcome treat, and his more somber solo tunes usually take on an even brighter glow at Christmas. The special 4 p.m. show leaves plenty of time for some last-minute gift-wrapping with the folks. Chip’s (Smith)

PAUL MELANCON, WEAKLAZYLIAR, PAT WALSH — The fifth annual “Paul’s Holiday Goof Variety Spectacular” features Melancon, the pop guitarist who manages to be equal parts Arthur Brown and Arthur Rimbaud. Sharing the bill is Gerlinda Grimes’ folky and sometimes funky (depending on the remix) Weaklazyliar, with merry old soul-popster Pat Walsh (who’s boasting a new disc, Egghead), plus maybe a special guest or two. Expect over two hours of holiday songs, cover tunes and chaotic frolics. Melancon even promises to trot out a nifty acoustic version of “Brick House.” Ho, Ho, Yo! Eddie’s Attic (Smith)
