The Candler Park resident blends function and fashion with her cool threads, which she normally picks up while traveling throughout Southeast Asia. Recent trips allowed her to visit Thailand and India, where she skipped the middleman and scored some great deals on clothes that eventually wind up in the States.
But, Michelle pieced this outfit together from various U.S. purchases, which help her beat the brutal Atlanta heat.
Although crafted in Nepal, her patchwork skirt came from a shop in San Diego. The light cotton material packs a visual punch with striped patterns of warm and bold colors. And when an old purse broke on another trip to California, Michelle snagged this great floral-print and fringed purse from a vendor's booth at an arts and crafts festival.
