What is the best and worst neighborhood for bar-hopping?

Smitty: I like downtown — the atmosphere, the whole vibe of a big city. I'm actually a traffic person. I like traffic, and I like the traffic downtown on Peachtree. It gives the place a vibe. And the crowd downtown has a good idea of how things work. In Buckhead, it seems to be chaos every time. It's traffic with people I don't want to be around; they're young and immature. You mix them in with all the tourists in Buckhead, and you get people who don't know where they're going and a high level of confusion.

Kerri: Midtown. There are more classier people in Midtown. The music is more upscale, and it's better to pick up men in Midtown. There's more of them, and they're cuter and dress nicer than they do in Buckhead — they're a higher class. I've kind of been picked up many times by a lot of men, but I blow them all off. But I do like to slap their asses in Midtown and get their reaction. It's a lot of fun. I don't slap the men's asses in Buckhead — only the girls' asses. They all think they're hot shit, so I smack them in the ass.

Jimbo88: Little Five. Everyone knows each other, and you can sit around, drink and laugh. There's no stuck-up people. A lot of people say East Atlanta is great — is a happening place. But I've gone several times and been bored out of my mind. I call it "mini-Buckhead." At least in Buckhead they're straight-up yuppies. In East Atlanta, they're pseudo-yuppies and uppity artists. They think they're better than you are. They look at you like you just came out of the gutter. They even try to show out for their girls, and get into a fight just to impress them.
