Talk of the Town - The Guillotine September 04 2003

...when all else fails

“I’m tired of reading and hearing the?term ‘urban’ being used to describe?black people. I’m by all means not?racist or a bigot, but I am however ‘a?city dweller,’ which is what an ‘urban?person’ actually is. If I were black, I?think I’d be offended by that term, as?it truly is a stereotype that only black?people live in ‘urban’ areas.”
