Bar Review - Cool as a Cuke
When it comes to keeping cool under pressure, the cucumber will come through every time. Whether it’s bags under the eyes or easing a sunburn, a few slices are quick to work some home-remedy magic.
For keeping cool from the inside out, we suggest a sip of Taverna Plaka’s Cucumber Martini. Green as grass, the concoction is infused with fresh cucumber juice and a strong shot of icey Fris vodka. Though the menu claims those two components are the only ingredients, the bright color and hyper sweetness led us to suspect a touch of Midori as well.
