News - Rebuilding City Hall East

Want to hear about the future of the City Hall East property, a 2 million-square-foot building that will be rebuilt as lofts and will anchor a massive mixed-use development? The city's Neighborhood Planning Unit-N, which includes Cabbagetown, Candler Park, Druid Hills, Inman Park, Lake Claire, Poncey-Highland and Reynoldstown, will present the redevelopment plans for the old City Hall East building and neighboring Masquerade nightclub at its monthly meeting on Thurs., June 23. According to designs released by the Ponce Park Team, the development at Ponce de Leon and North avenues will be mostly residential, with street-level shops. The centerpiece of the development will be a courtyard and park.
