It’s not always a good thing when music and film cross-pollinate. Exhibit A: From Justin to Kelly. Exhibit B: Glitter. Exhibit C: Spice World. Yet sometimes amid the weeds, the blending of the two entertainment mediums sprouts something great. Exhibit D: The ATLANTA HIPHOP FILM FESTIVAL. The festival runs Fri.-Sun., AUG. 24-26, and features movie makers from around the globe, panel discussions and workshops. This year’s highlights include films on Biz Markie and the Wu-Tang Clan.
