Atlanta Asian Film Festival 2007
The ATLANTA ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL celebrates Asian Pacific culture through, you guessed it, film. The movies cover universal subjects such as love, angst and family, which transcend cultural lines. On Mon., OCT. 8, a 9-year-old boy struggles to overcome broken familial bonds in the Taiwanese film Bear Hug. In 15 (Shiwu), director Royston Tan explores the struggles of adolescence through a group of 15-year-old boys in Singapore. Through Oct. 12. $5-$45. Times, dates and locations vary. www.atlaff.org.
