Athens loves its rock festivals. Less than two months after AthFest 2006, the college town hosts Athens POPFEST 2006 AUG. 8-12. Unlike the sprawling AthFest, Popfest takes place at only two clubs: Little Kings and the 40 Watt. If you didn’t get a chance to see hot local bands like Cinemechanica and Casper & the Cookies (pictured) in June, now’s your chance.
