See & Do - Music: WRFG Peachblossom Bluegrass Festival April 04 2007

A lazy spring Saturday is always best spent in the shade (and away from the pollen). WRFG-FM (89.3)’s 31st annual PEACHBLOSSOM BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL (subtitled “Georgia’s Home-Grown Bluegrass”) on Sat., APRIL 7, offers folks nonstop bluegrass tunes from morning till night. The 11-hour event ends with an all-star music jam, featuring an eclectic mix of musicians, including the Dappled Grays, Apostle (pictured) and Cedar Hill. All proceeds benefit WRFG, Atlanta’s only nonprofit community radio station. Free-$15. 11 a.m.-10 p.m. State Farmer’s Market, Exhibition Hall, 16 Forest Parkway, Forest Park. 404-523-3471. www.wrfg.org.
