Restaurant Review - Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

Best Seafood 2000: Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen

?
Cajun-coastal specialties at these Texas chain-link roadhouses are definitely worth a long drive and a wait (reservations not accepted, y’all). Tuck into large portions of shrimp Creole, crispy fried oysters en brochette, crawfish and shrimp etouffée. Start with shrimp cocktail, savory gumbo or Greek salad, the latter tossed to order at the table. Numerous fresh fish of the day are prepared in numerous, delicious ways (we like the rich salmon Ponchartrain best). End with sweet-potato pecan pie.
