ATL Comic Profile: Landry

Profile of Atlanta comedian Landry.

Image People that only go by one name are either hiding something, or are so good at what they do that only one autonym is necessary to identify them. Landry, the Jamaican-Canadian comic who is absolutely tearing Atlanta’s comedy scene up, is on his way to joining the ranks of the second kind of single-name-havers. When he’s not participating in national comedy festivals, or winning awards voted on by his peers, he simply takes to the city’s stages and rips. Whether waxing intellectual on mundane pop-culture phenomena, or acting out the punchlines to an expose of multi-cultural silliness, Landry is a gifted performer who always seems to be having as much fun as the audience.
