Catching up with Kim Wacker, the voice of Atlantic Station
A few weeks ago, Atlantic Station, Global Headquarters of Creative Loafing Atlanta, announced the winner of its Announcer Sweepstakes.
In the weeks since, those coming and going from the the 7,200-space parking garage (one of the world's largest underground parking garages) will notice a charming siren call welcoming them to facility.
It's the voice of Kim Wacker, an Atlanta-based actress, singer, model, host, deejay and voiceover artist.
How did you become "The Voice" of Atlantic Station?
I stumbled upon a contest online and entered to become the Announcer for Atlantic Station. I was amongst 5 finalists who submitted an 8 second voice track welcoming guests to Atlantic Station. There was a voting period on Atlantic Station's blog and I was excited to be chosen as the winner!

What's the biggest benefit to being "The Voice?"
The biggest benefit for me as the Announcer for Atlantic Station is the exposure it will bring for me. Over 9 million people visit Atlantic Station each year, and my voice will be heard by everyone who enters and exits the parking decks! I also get free parking and discounts at many of the shops and restaurants at Atlantic Station for life! I was treated like a local celeb at the Concierge desk when I last visited Atlantic Station!
