Tickets for Decatur Book Fest Keynote and Kidnote will be available soon
? For those of you eagerly awaiting the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Decatur Book Festival (AJC DBF), tickets for both the Keynote and Kidnote address will be up for grabs on Tues., Aug. 11.

? The Keynote event will take place on Fri., Sep. 4 at Emory University’s Schwartz Center for Performing Arts. It was announced earlier this summer that novelist/ sexual revolution icon Erica Jong will give the keynote address. Tickets for this event are free and are limited to two per person. Tickets can be obtained by visiting the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts, or by clicking here. A limited number of tickets are also available at A Cappella Books, Charis Books and More, Eagle Eye Books, Tall Tales Books and Little Shop of Stories.

? The Kidnote event will also take place on Fri., Sep. 4 at Decatur High School’s Performing Arts Center. The speaker will be author Judy Schachner, the playful mind behind the Skippyjon Jones picture books. Schachner will also use the event to launch a new character and picture book, Dewey Bob. Tickets for the Kidnote event are also free, and are limited to four per person. Festival-goers can obtain tickets for this event at Charis Books & More, Eagle Eye Books and Little Shop of Stories.
