n conjunction with their newest exhibit, The Rise of Sneaker Culture, the High Museum will be screening David T. Friendly and Mick Patridge’s 2015 documentary Sneakerheadz. The documentary dives into the sneaker culture, examining the way sneakers have influenced people (like the Tokyo group pictured above), while also interviewing the sneakerheads that obsess over the shoes. Covering the popularity of sneakers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, and more, Sneakerheadz provides a visual “walk in their shoes.”
