Plus, Mayor Reed’s business partner is the subject of a subpoena and more news.

According to Reed, the Atlanta Fulton County Recreation Authority can seal the deal without public bidding or the approval of the Atlanta City Council or the Fulton County Commission. Unsurprisingly, some officials, like Fulton County Chairman John Eaves, are not cool with that.

Speaking of Reed, one of his business partners is now the subject of a subpoena. Darrell Anderson runs A-National Limousine Service at the airport and has strong political and personal ties to Reed. Investigators are looking into invoices he sent the city to pay for new automobiles.
