Omnivore - Last call for Patagonian salmon

Kristin Hill of the Atlanta Omni Hotel at CNN Center writes to say the hotel’s “Sumptuous Flavors of Argentina” promotion will end Feb. 29. I haven’t checked it out, but it sounds impressive. Kristin writes:

Since Nov. 1, 2007 the hotel has offered a “Sumptuous Flavors of Argentina” menu featuring asados, brasas, estofados, enterrados, hand-cut beef empanadas, Patagonian salmon, the flavors of dulce de leche bread pudding, Malbec and Torrontes –which are just a few of the rich and robust flavors and wines from Argentina that guests have been able to savor during their visit to the Omni.

Omni’s chefs embarked on their annual “Flavors of the World” journey – a culinary immersion designed for Omni’s 40 chefs and food & beverage professionals to indulge in the cultures and traditions of cooking and relishing the wines of foreign lands. Upon return last year from Argentina, the chefs have applied their newly acquired knowledge and cooking techniques for guests to enjoy the specially prepared Argentina menu.
