Omnivore - Gravy Train: Baton Supper Club, Hurricane Grill coming to Georgia

So, we heard that the team from M. Wells is serving a few pop-up dinners at Gato Bizco in Candler Park, but now Thrillist is reporting that this is just the beginning. The Candler Park restaurant will host a series of supper club dinners called Baton.

Hurricane Grill and Wings, described as having a laid-back, beachy vibe, has signed a large expansion agreement that includes adding 22 locations in North Georgia and Alabama. The wings franchise currently has dozens of locations throughout Florida and a few others scattered around the United States, but none in Georgia. Their casual menu focuses on the 30 flavors of wings, but also includes burgers, sandwiches, salads and more. Hurricane Grill is a full service restaurant with a sports bar-like atmosphere.

Eater confirms that Bluepointe is slated to close, and that we’ll also see Pano’s opening soon, sharing a space with 103 West.

The Boxcar Grocer, a new independent grocery store focused on natural foods, is opening in Castleberry Hill. They will carry local, organic produce and other regional goodies like High Road Craft Ice Cream and Savannah Bee Honey. They plan to be open within the next few weeks.
