Omnivore - Gravy Train: New BBQ from P”cheen”s crew, doughnuts in Decatur

Atlanta magazine has the scoop on a new BBQ spot in West Midtown, run by P’cheen’s Alex Friedman, Keiren Neely, and Mike LaSage. The restaurant, called Bone Lick BBQ, will provide a full-time pig-out destination for fan’s of P’cheen’s Monday night BBQ menu (a seasonal hit for the Old Fourth Ward gastropub). They will open this summer on Huff Road, serving dinner and a limited lunch menu.

A new doughnut shop, Revolution Doughnuts (formerly Little Red Hen Bakeshop), is opening in Decatur in May. They’ll be located next to Ale Yeah. In addition to good, old-fashioned, homemade doughnuts, they also make gluten-free and vegan treats. Until the shop opens, you can find their doughnuts around town at places like Decatur Farmer’s Market and the Atlanta Nosh market coming soon to Atlantic Station.

An Evening with Le Cirque, a nationwide tour that recreates Manhattan’s iconic Le Cirque restaurant, will arrive in Atlanta on May 25 for a dinner at the Buckhead Club. The three-course meal, featuring an entree of black bass, will run you $150, including wine pairings. Reservations required. Via Eater.

Charlot’s Creole Cafe is preparing to open downtown on Mitchell Street, right by Lunacy Black Market. They’ll serve classic Creole dishes including gumbo, po’ boys and jambalaya.
