Omnivore - The Angry Chef and local blogger throw down on Twitter

In case you missed it, here’s the play-by-play

Last Thursday, Ron Eyester (@theangrychef) and local blogger Eli Zandman (@tonetoatlanta) - who writes the blog Tomorrow’s News Today - had an interesting exchange on Twitter. In case you missed it, here’s the play-by-play:

Zandman began with a provocative question posed at Eyester:
Hey @theangrychef , how much is @marktoro paying you to open at @atlanticstation ?#DumbMoves
- Eli Zandman (@tonetoatlanta) February 26, 2013

To which Eyester quickly fired back:
@tonetoatlanta @marktoro @atlanticstation Let’s be honest, you just don’t know enough about the parameters to cast a sound opinion.
- Ron Eyester (@theangrychef) February 27, 2013

Zandman even brought in Mark Toro, Managing Partner of North American Properties, which owns the retail component of Atlantic Station, by asking how much free rent Toro was offering Eyester, as well as asking:
@theangrychef Did @marktoro assure you that you would receive favorable press/ coverage from that other blog who happens 2b on his payroll?
- Eli Zandman (@tonetoatlanta) February 27, 2013

To which Toro suggested, via a Vine video, that perhaps Zandman just needs some lovin’:
@mikegalla_cref @tonetoatlanta @theangrychef @atlanticstation here ya go, Eli.
- Mark Toro (@MarkToro) February 27, 2013

After 30 minutes, at least one observer tweeted the awkwardness of such a public exchange:
