After a seven-year run, the Westside Provisions District restaurant Abattoir will shutter after dinner service Sat., March 28. Currently under chef Joe Schafer's culinary direction, Abattoir offers many local and organic proteins and produce from co-owner Anne Quatrano's Summerland Farms. Many of the staff have already been slated for future roles at the upcoming and highly anticipated W. H. Stiles Fish Camp, opening in Ponce City Market this spring. W. H. Stiles is named after Quatrano's great-great-great-great grandfather and will be helmed by chef Daniel Chance, Bacchanalia's current sous chef.

"We have loved our seven-year run our great team at Abattoir. We have been proud to present great food, a fabulous atmosphere, and the talents of several notable chefs,”owners Quatrano and Clifford Harrison said in a Facebook announcement. “It’s time we let another concept take over this awesome space as we work on the opening of our Fish Camp at Ponce City Market this Spring.”

Diners are welcome and encouraged to place their final reservations at Abattoir by calling the restaurant directly at 404-892-3335.
