Trying to knock out those 100 Dishes to Eat in Atlanta but missing the Trio at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream? Fret no more. All outposts of Jeni’s will open for business just in time for Memorial Weekend.

After being shuttered and having to dispose of more than 265 tons of ice cream after listeria was found in the production facility, the company is thrilled to get their operations back on track. Jeni’s scoop shops nationwide will reopen at 7 p.m. on Fri., May 22, and resume normal business hours the following day. In order to have a consistent supply once pints are available, sales in grocery stores and online at jenis.com will resume later this summer.

The reopening comes along with a new flavor to look forward to: limited edition, Sun-Popped Corn.

“There are three qualities we celebrate in our employees above all else: talent, hustle, and guts,” said founder Jeni Britton Bauer in a statement. “You invest in culture specifically for times like these. Our team came together in a crisis. We will come out of this stronger as a company than we went into it.”

Fans of the popular, seasonal Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk flavor, however, are in for a wait.

“We had been ramping up production for months to prepare for summer,” Bauer said. “We had recently made our Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk from Hirsch Fruit Farm strawberries that we had frozen and banked from last summer’s harvest — all of that is gone. As a result, we won’t have strawberries until they are ripe in the field for our Roasted Strawberry Buttermilk ice cream until midsummer.”
