Preserving Place Fri., May 22, 5:30-8 p.m. Strawberry Social Fundraiser Preserving Place will host a strawberry social benefiting the Community Farmers Market. The event will highlight strawberries in various forms and includes a strawberry cocktail demonstration. A portion of the proceeds will go to CFM’s Westside Provisions District Farmers Market. Turner Field Fri., May 22, 6:30-7 p.m. Braves Strike Out Hunger The Atlanta Community Food Bank will partner with the Atlanta Braves and Kroger for a canned food drive. Braves pitcher Jason Grilli will be signing autographs for a donation of 20 cans or $20. Details

Marietta Wine Market Sat., May 23, 2-4 p.m. Wine Tasting: Elizabeth Spencer Winery Guests will taste wines from the Elizabeth Spencer Winery based in Napa Valley, California. MAX’s Wine Dive Sat., May 23, 11 am.-4 p.m. The Theme’s the Thing MAX’s Wine Dive is introducing themed Saturday morning brunches now until September. The next stop is at Turner Field to watch the Braves take on the Milwaukee Brewers.
