Atlanta’s pioneering, charitable restaurant industry organization, the Giving Kitchen, is trying to get to Austin, TX, and they could use your help. The nonprofit hopes to share its mission at the 2016 SXSW Interactive Festival, one branch of Austin’s massive, music, film, and culture festival that takes places each March. Each year, SXSW receives a vast number of applications from folks interested in hosting panel events and the selection process includes a public voting portion.

?
TGK’s proposed Interactive SXSW panel, Serving a purpose that can’t be ordered on a menu, aims to spread the word about the the organization’s trailblazing work and to start a dialog around engaging the food community to support a common cause.

?
With more than 4,000 applicants for SXSW 2016, the competition is steep. If you’d like to help them get to Austin, head over to the SXSW PanelPicker site and give your thumbs up. Voting ends Fri., Sept. 4.
