Omnivore - Todd Richards to open Krog Street Market stall
The longtime Atlanta chef plans to open Richard’s Southern Fried early next year

White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails executive chef Todd Richards — formerly of Atlantic Station’s the Pig and the Pearl and the Shed at Glenwood — is planning to open Richard’s Southern Fried, a concept featuring his famed fried chicken, at Krog Street Market in the first quarter of 2016. In a brief telephone interview, Richards said that he will serve as the stall’s executive chef and that Richard’s Southern Fried will be located across the hall from Yalla near Jenni’s Splendid Ice Cream. His chicken will come in three styles: regular, hot, and Richard’s hot, which will feature a proprietary blend of spices instead of peppers or chilies.
