Blame the hurricane, tornados or flash floods, but the hot 'n heavy week of storms proved a slow one for filming in ATLwood. Still, the show must go on! Here are a few tidbits:
— What to expect when you're expecting film news: that What To Expect When You're Expecting is filming! This week the crew set up shop in Inman park at 465 N. Highland Ave (thanks to our own Thomas Wheatley for the notification!)
— There may be a new celebrity face in town soon: Bette Midler has joined the cast of the upcoming Billy Crystal family flick Us and Them, set to film in Atlanta in the next month.
— Atlanta native Chris Lowell (pictured) of "Private Practice," "Veronica Mars" and most importantly that short-lived show I completely forgot about where my young heart first swooned for him, "Life As We Know It" fame talks about his role in The Help.
— Early word is that a "new Western" called The Last Stand, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, will be filming in Atlanta soon.
— Apparently Nathan Kress from "iCarly" is shooting a secret movie in town that revolves around video games.
