Joi Gilliam may be a resident of LA these days, but trust and believe the funk/rock/soul-tinged singer is Atlanta musical royalty through and through. Just check out her resume, which includes a lauded catalog of classics produced by fellow hometown legend Dallas Austin, guest vocal appearances on songs by hit-making artists such as TLC, and membership in the Dungeon Family. She’s worthy of eternal adoration. That said, whenever Joi returns to the A to take the stage, consider her live show a must-see experience.
