Chef Marc Taftbs Brine Seafood Shack opens this week at Avalon. The Southern California-style restaurant has a rooftop tiki bar and serves dishes like fish tacos, lobster rolls, grilled fish and poke. bWebre bringing a vacation vibe to the dining experience,b Taft said in a release.

Bacchanalia and Star Provisions Market and CafC) is now open in its new location on Ellsworth Industrial Drive. Joe Schafer continues as executive chef in this third iteration of the acclaimed restaurant. The restaurant was designed by chef/owners Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison and architects/designers Perkins+Will.

Jai Ho Kitchen and Bar (560 Dutch Valley Road) is now serving brunch from noon to 3 p.m. with unlimited mimosas, salad and omelette stations and a dessert bar.
